Hello! My name is Paulette Light, I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist, and the owner of Lighthouse Counselling.
I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. I am also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
I hold a diploma in Social Service Work from Georgian College, a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Lakehead University, and a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

My Experience
I have worked in community programs, healthcare, and primary care, supporting children, teens, and adults navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship challenges.
My experience allows me to provide practical, compassionate support tailored to every individuals unique needs.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and personalized.
I see you as the expert in your own life and create a safe, supportive space for you to explore, process, and grow.
